Refund Policy

At “Meet U @ The Net,” we are committed to providing an exceptional beach volleyball experience. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we have developed the following refund policy to address these situations.

Refund Eligibility:

  1. Before Season Commencement: Full refunds are available up to the first day of the season, which is marked by our tryouts event. We encourage participants to make any necessary cancellations before this date to ensure eligibility for a full refund.
  2. Ejection Post-Tryouts: In the event that a participant does not make it past the tryouts due to their skill level and is consequently ejected from the season, we will issue a refund of the registration fee. However, please note that a Tryouts Spot Fee of $10 will be retained to cover administrative and operational costs associated with the tryout process. The ejection policy is solely at the discretion of Meet U @ The Net staff.
  3. Not Making it off the Waitlist: In the event that the season fills up, there are no last-minute dropouts, and a participant does not make it off of the waitlist, they are eligible for a full refund, which will be administered back to their original form of payment.
  4. After Season Commencement: Please be advised that no refunds will be issued after the first day of the season (tryouts). We encourage participants to be certain of their commitment before the season begins.

Team Formations:

Please be aware that team assignments typically include more players than the minimum required for each game (for example, 5 players on a 4v4 team). With our extensive experience in organizing the league, we’ve found that having extra players helps teams manage availability conflicts throughout the season. This reduces the need for substitutes and ensures smoother gameplay. By registering, you acknowledge and agree to this structure. Please note, refunds will not be issued based on team size or rotation policies.

Additionally, by registering to participate in “Meet U @ The Net,” you are acknowledging that after tryouts, you may not be placed on your preferred team or within your preferred division. Our goal as a league is to provide the most competitive volleyball possible for our participants skill level, however, not wanting to participate on the team you are placed on or not wanting to participate in your assigned division is not sufficient refund eligibility.

Deferment:

If significant life circumstances arise between your registration and the start of the season you signed up for, you may be eligible to defer your registration. Deferment is solely at the discretion of Meet U @ The Net staff and you may be required to provide documentation to support your request. Any deferred season MUST be claimed on the next immediate season following the season your originally registered for (eg. Season 10 registration deferment would only be eligible for Season 11). Requesting to defer your registration waives your ability to request a refund at a later date.

Process for Requesting a Refund:

To request a refund, please contact our support team with your registration details and the reason for the refund request. Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

Exceptions:

Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis in extenuating circumstances, such as medical emergencies or significant personal matters. Documentation may be requested to support such exceptions.
